Entrants must fill out an entry form available at the Department of Public Works, 1840 State Road 130, or at City Hall, 414 Main Street, in the Clerk-treasurer’s office.  The rain barrels will be provided at no charge to contestants and can be picked up at the Department of Public Works at the time the entry form is filled out.  There will one barrel given out per household or grade level (see contest rules below). Contestants must supply their own paint and must be City of Hobart residents.  Painting instructions are on the back of this page.

     pollution prevention and water conservation.

  1. A team of three judges will judge the designs together, deeming the top three designs in each age category.  The age categories are: 4-11, 12-17, and 18 and above.  The judges will make their decision based on artistic ability, creativity and successful communication of the theme.  There will be prizes awarded in each age group.
