Riverfront Liquor License
Three-Way Liquor License
The mayor may issue a letter to the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission recommending the issuance of a three-way liquor license as an incentive for restaurant attraction in the downtown Lakefront District eligible areas.

The recipient pays $1,000 per year for this special riverfront liquor license.

Over 50% of sales at the establishment must be in food. Unique dining experiences are preferred that are not currently available in the downtown area. Buildings within 200 feet of a church or school are not eligible to apply. The City Council has authorized the issuance of only 10 of these types of liquor licenses and have been issued to date.  Contact the Redevelopment Commission Project Manager at (219) 942-5517 or for more information
