Three-Way Liquor License
The mayor may issue a letter to the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission recommending the issuance of a three-way liquor license as an incentive for restaurant attraction in the downtown Lakefront District eligible areas.
The recipient pays $1,000 per year for this special riverfront liquor license.
A minimum of 51% of sales at the establishment must be in food. Unique dining experiences are preferred that are not currently available in the downtown area. The City Council has authorized the issuance of only 10 of these types of liquor licenses and 7 have been issued to date.
