Get the Facts:
With the decline in Covid cases, starting Tuesday, June 1st, City Hall
asks that those that are not vaccinated follow the CDC guidelines and continue to wear face coverings while in the building. Those that are vaccinated do not need to wear a mask unless an office/meeting requires a face covering.
Per the Indiana State Department of Health website:
Starting Thursday, May 13th residents aged 12 and over will be able to register to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Minors need a parent or guardian present for vaccination.
There are two options for registration:
The first option is to register online at ourshot.in.gov by selecting "Click here to find a vaccination site and register." Hobart residents should scroll down on the right of the screen and click on Lake. Then select which location you would like to register for your appointment and follow the screen prompts. Family members may make appointments for a senior.
If you do not have access to a computer, the other option is to call 2-1-1 and request assistance with registration or even transportation needs.
The person receiving the vaccination must bring photo identification to their appointment.
Vaccinations are free.
Indiana is working on getting a vaccine to all Hoosiers who want one as quickly as possible.
