Three-Way Liquor License
The mayor may issue a letter to the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission recommending the issuance of a three-way liquor license as an incentive for restaurant attraction in the downtown Lakefront District eligible areas.
Cost
There is a $550 application fee payable to the City of Hobart. The recipient pays $1,000 per year to the state for this special riverfront liquor license.
Restrictions
A minimum of 51% of sales at the establishment must be in food. Unique dining experiences are preferred that are not currently available in the downtown area.
