The Code Compliance Officer is responsible for enforcing city ordinances in an effort to promote the maintenance and upkeep of property, protect public health, safety and welfare, and preserve the quality of life in the residential and business areas of the City of Hobart.
Our main purpose is to enforce the Hobart Municipal Code in a fair and consistent manner to all citizens and businesses alike. The goal is to establish voluntary compliance through contact, education of the code, and guidance.
